is a multi-hyphenate artist, a second generation Holocaust survivor, and life-long activist. Across the breadth of Beth’s skills, her driving force has always been service to others through storytelling and creating spaces to exercise our collective capacity for empathy.
Early in her career, Beth began talking circles during the height of the AIDS crisis in New York with Northern Lights Alternatives. An initiative she took out of the instinctual need to fill the void she saw in a community struggling for advocacy. Beth later created the White Plains Neonatal Network for Parents and wrote, designed and produced a “Wish Book” for the WPHC NICU.
Creating avenues for storytelling and healing was a catalyst for larger philanthropic leadership roles and engagement in Los Angeles.
Beth has collectively raised 1.2 million dollars in support of children's education as the Co-Chair to The Children’s Burn Foundation annual gala and The Crossroads School annual gala. All of which would not be possible without the generosity of the volunteer teams Beth led. As a parent to three, now adult children, Beth’s advocacy for education funding and resources has only grown.
Across mediums, leadership is part and parcel to Beth and shines through her work as a director, producer, teacher, and activist.
The Weber Family Art’s foundation is the culmination of many thoughtful years of experience as an artist and activist, exploration across roles and projects, and ever-fulfilling hours of hands-on work across communities in need.
Beth is humbled to carry forth the values of the Weber Family and continue to pay it forward.
Beth Lane is available for community outreach, educational engagement, keynote speaking and coaching.
